Blake and Riley are best friends, even though Blake is a bit wild and sometimes pushes Riley around. Blake begins to hang out with older boys who are troublemakers and they try to tease Riley into trying a dangerous stunt. Angry with Blake, Riley joins the swim team and starts seeing less and less of his former friend. One day Riley and the swim team find themselves at the local lake when Blake and his gang show up. When Blake is injured while diving into the water from a high cliff, it will take all of Riley's swimming skills to get to his friend in time to save him.
