When Joey, better known as Stosh, is hit by a pitch in a baseball game, he finds himself waking up in the hospital and learns he was saved by Dr. Wright. Stosh has a unique ability to travel through time when he holds a baseball card. Dr. Wright tells Stosh that the only guy ever to die playing a baseball game was a man who was hit in the head. If only they had known then what they know now about relieving the pressure on the brain, they could have saved him. What if they could go back in time and change the outcome? This time Stosh and Dr. Wright travel back together and meet the Babe along the way. This is another in the Baseball Card Adventure series that many reluctant reader boys enjoy.
