Slam Dunk!

This is the sequel to Safe at Home. Elijah “Jumper” Breeze is finding himself at his new school and in his new home with his mother in Harlem. School starts, and Jumper’s best friend, Kelvin, talks him into running for student council. Then things start happening all at once. Jumper ends up running against, Nia, a girl who is one of his friends. Nia’s brother, Marcus, seems to be challenging Jumper. Then, the students learn that they need to raise money for a new gym floor. Jumper learns about judging people, working for a cause, not being afraid to try, even if it seems you might fail.
