Tiki and Ronde are twins, and they are about to start the seventh grade. They are facing junior high school and all it will ask of them. Their mother has made sure they have no classes together this year. For the first time, they won't have each other to lean on. The Barber twins have two big influences in their lives. Their mother, who finds out they aren't speaking up in class or even paying attention, is influence number one, and football, where they hope to prove themselves, is number two. Geraldine Barber is about to teach them some lessons in standing up and being heard. Football is about to teach them some lessons about success.
