The book I read is Wonder by R.J. Palacio. This is a book about a kid named August who has a disfigured face. August is starting school for the first time in Fifth Grade. The year starts out rough for August. Nobody wants to be his friend and everybody is mean to him. Will August ever make friends and what else will happen to him? Read the book to find out.

Wonder is an amazing story and it is very touching. I loved it, and everybody I talked to thinks the same. I would recommend this book to anyone in Fifth Grade and up, even adults! Read this book and really feel what it’s like to be different.
