At the Zelda A. Zigzag Afternoon Center, Destiny Washington is trying to come up with a personal “discovery” to add to the group project mural.She comes up empty handed and feels panicked when she sees all of her friends drawing and writing on the mural.Destiny feels especially anxious to impress her classmate Gina, a girl she quickly judges to be annoying and boastful. Destiny tells a small fib that eventually turns into a “big whopper.”Readers will want to keep reading to find out how Destiny will get out of the mess she created and to see if Gina is really as bad as Destiny thinks she is.
Since this is the second book in a series with a lot of characters, I would recommend reading them in order to get a better understanding of the characters and where everyone fits in at the Zig Zag School.
