Tish Bonner has to write in a journal every day for her English class. Her teacher allows the kids to write Do Not Read when they don't want her to know what they've shared in writing. But, Tish has a story that needs to be heard. She is struggling to survive. Her mother is gone and she's trying desperately to take care of her little brother and herself. It's a cry for help.
