Fifteen -year-old Sean looks like a bad kid – one of those kids who can't be reasoned with. They are giving him a last chance by sending him out to do community service on Mr. Hassler's farm. Mr. Hassler is one of those special human beings who understand hurt animals and hurt teenagers. Fifteen-year-old Sean starts to find himself on the farm. This is a story about a kid who is searching for a hero and searching for a reason to trust. This is one of my absolute favorite books for young adults. There's enough action for the boys, and there's enough heart for the girls. Ages 12-15 160 pages
