Summer is great until a letter comes in the mail and ruins everything.  Evan Treski, a fourth-grader, has just found out that his younger sister, Jessie, is skipping the 3rd grade and is going to be in HIS class when school starts.  How embarrassing. She's so smart and so good at math.   Evan is smart too...he's smart with people but he struggles with math and reading.

The brother and sister were going to run a lemonade stand together but now Evan is so mad that he and his friends are running their own stand and Jessie has her own stand down the street.  They're in a battle to see who can make the most money selling lemonade.

They're both using sound business principles to maximize their earnings. Jessie has some lessons to learn, too. She struggles to understand people's non-verbal communication.  The things that Evan sees so easily are invisible to her.

A sibling rivalry of the first order.  What lessons lie ahead for both? 192 pages Ages 8-11
