Owl has tucked himself in and he's ready to turn the lights out and settle in for a nice sleep. Then it happens. The noise. Did you hear it? Owl checks out in front of the house but there is nobody out there. Back into bed he snuggles and heads off to sleep land. There it is again.
Every time Owl settles in the noise shows up. Owl is literally tearing the house apart to find the source of the noise. It starts driving him crazy.
This is a simply written picture book that has a great sense of fun and a very sympathetic main character. It's a great choice for a reader who has the hang of a basic sight word vocabulary.
Tone: Playful, fun, silly
