Loved this great baseball book with a take on Goodnight Moon. A boy and his father go to a baseball game and the illustrations delightfully show such a wonderful time they are having at America’s greatest pastime! Full of vivid pictures, rhyme, and memories being made, little boys, and girls too, will love this book. The boy and his father enjoy everything there is to enjoy at a baseball game, from popcorn to hotdogs, and even catching a ball in the stands! At the conclusion of the game, when the home team wins, Michael Dahl does a wonderful job and matching the story to it’s likeness, with the little boy telling everything goodnight! My favorite part of the book was the illustration of the baseball moon outside the little boy’s window.

Absolutely adorable, and a book that little ones will beg their parents to read to them over and over again each night!

ISBN: 9781623700003 32 pages. Ages 3 and up. Recommended by: Shawn Lane, Librarian, Texas USA
