Practice does make perfect in this charming story of Bobbie, a wallaby who can jump, skip, bounce, and somersault forwards and backwards, but just cannot do the splits. While it doesn’t matter to Bobbie’s friends, Bobbie minds. Persistence pays off as Bobbie masters the splits (and eventually gets up). Bobbie’s friends follow her example and practice their splits until they’ve mastered them too. The illustrations will inspire children to get up off the couch and try it out themselves.
