Carlin, the raccoon, is afraid of everything. He really doesn't want to get out of bed in the morning for fear of having to try something new, or seeing his shadow, or "of being alone." Luckily he has friends who care about him and one friend Zack takes Carlin to see Big Bear, "the bravest animal in all the land."
