Muncha Muncha Muncha Muncha Muncha Muncha

Muncha Muncha Muncha

Mr. McNeely has never planted a vegetable garden. This year he is going to give it a try and he has dreams of fresh lettuce, tomatoes, carrots and peas. He hoes and he sows and then he watches his garden grow. One morning he comes out to see his little plants sprouting up and finds they have been gnawed. The varmints went Muncha, Muncha, Muncha and now the sprouts are nibbled down to the nub. Mr. McNeely is mad at those little puff tails and he builds a short wire fence around the garden. The sun goes down and the moon comes up and the next morning the damage has been done again. Now it's a battle of the wits between the munching bunnies and the man with a yen for a fresh salad. Who is going to win. "Tippy, Tippy, Tippy, Pat!" Ages 3-7 32 pages
