Bears sleep through the winter in their caves and never, ever get to celebrate Valentine's Day but this year Mrs. Bear decides to set her alarm for February 14. When the alarm goes off, she kisses Mr. Bear on his nose and gets to work while he sleeps soundly in his bed. Mrs. Bear finds the two poems she wrote last fall, makes a special sign, and digs out the honey pot she buried just for this special day. But when she tries to wake up Mr. Bear to share the fun with her, he keeps on snoring away. Finally, Mrs. Bear goes out and collects a can full of very cold water that she's going to splash on Mr. Bear. The surprise is on her!
