Alexander Anteater is sad because he has no act to perform for the talent show at Alpha Betty’s school. He can’t dance or play the banjo, but he can stand on his hands. With help from his friends Anna Anaconda and Albert Alligator, Alexander is able to do an absolutely amazing acrobatic trick. The last page of the book has information about anteaters and a variety of fun activities for children to do to practice letter sounds, make short words and attempt Alexander’s trick.
