"Ty was big and Ty was mean." Whoa, he looks so fierce and he is. He's a tyrannosaurus rex and you know what that means. He's big and bad and he's hungry. Now, meet Teri. She's a little, bitty dinosaur. She's a sweet little dinosaur and she's Ty's little sister. "Wov oo, Ty Rannynormus!" she says to him. Off Ty goes to do some hunting and sure enough he finds a herd of stegosauruses. Just as he's about to charge in and get himself some lunch, he hears "Hug oo, Ty rannynormus!" Hold everything. He can't go charging after those stegosauruses with his little sister hugging on his hind leg. Off he snorts, pretty mad about how things are going. She keeps showing up and he gets more and more put out. Those family ties do bind though when another fierce dinosaur sees Teri on his lunch menu. It's brother Ty to save the day. The pictures are big and bold and bright. It's a fierce story with a gentle edge.
