First Snow

The first snow has fallen and the family of mice all climb into grandma and grandpa mouse's truck and head off for an adventure. Grandpa loves to ice skate and everyone else can't wait to sled down the big hill. Such fun! But wait, who is that at the top of the hill? It'a Bitty. Bitty is scared. She is the only one who does not soar down the hillside. There she sits at the top all by herself. But she pushes off down the hill with all her courage and sails through the snow. And down she goes again and again and again. Look at her go. In fact, she likes sledding so much, they can't get her to leave. This makes a great read aloud for a story time for little ones.
