This little board book has a whole lot going on! When you open up to the first page, it starts with "This book was made especially for someone who really counts:" and then there's a line where you can write the child's name. Then we begin to count with one panda bear and a great big brightly colored patchwork number one. Each page has animals to count and great big numbers to trace with your fingers. There is a feeling of happiness and fun streaming off the pages. Great for teaching what numbers look like and the concept of quantity.
