A Penguin Story

Edna, the penguin, lives in a world of three colors: white, black and blue. But this is no ordinary penguin. She is determined that there is more to the world than just these three shades. Day after day, Edna searches and finally, tumbling and stumbling, she finds an entirely new, incredible color. "I knew it! the world isn't only white black and blue." Everyone comes to see this amazing find. It turns out to be a camp of scientists with a brightly colored orange tent and airplane. The scientists are about to fly away but they leave behind a brightly colored glove. As a new day dawns, "Edna wonders, What else could there be?" What a wonderful way to inspire and encourage children to imagine and questions and think beyond their own boundaries.
