After LIttle Turtle's father reads him a bedtime story about a penguin, LIttle Turtle decides he wants to be one. He makes himself a penguin costume and heads off to school. When all the other kids saw him, they wanted to be penguins too. They practiced passing balls to each other with their feet the way penguin fathers do. They slid on their tummies and ate fish crackers. It was a great Penguin Day. That night LIttle Turtle's father had a new book for him. It was all about monkeys! Uh oh! This might be a nice way to introduce school to young children who haven't gotten there yet.
