When a mouse comes to visit a little boy, he asks for a cookie. The gracious host gets him the cookie and that in turn requires a glass of milk. Kindly, the boy gets the milk too. Now when you drink milk this often results in the unsightly milk moustache which will require a napkin and a mirror. While looking in the mirror, the mouse might notice that he needs to trim his hair. Scissors please. One after another the boy fetches and brings until he is absolutely exhausted. Then, the mouse starts all over again needing something to drink. It's a great read aloud.
