Lucy is being bullied at school. Mean old Tommy is breaking her clay crow, stomping on her cake, and tearing her books and papers. Her mother wonders what is going on but Lucy does not want to tell. Tommy told her not to. Lucy is afraid. When her mother asks her who would stomp on her cake, Lucy breaks down and tells her mom. Then, she can't sleep. What is going to happen tomorrow when she has to go to school? Is Tommy going to be mean? Well, it turns out that Tommy's mom is not too happy with him. Tommy, the bully, is afraid to come to school too. Tommy's mom tells him he wouldn't like it if someone was mean to him. A nice read aloud.
