| A witch planted a seed and up came a huge pumpkin. When it was ripe, the witch tried to pull it off the vine. She tried and tried but it wouldn't come off. Along come a string of creepy creatures who volunteer to help her. A ghost, a mummy, a vampire and a bat all think they'll get a yummy piece of pie if they can get that pumpkin off the vine. It's fun to turn the page and see who is showing up next. There's a moment of thrill as the new character comes to life and then there's the reassurance that whoever it is will be pitching in to help rather than doing a dark deed. It's great what can happen if we work together and it doesn't matter how big or small, we all have power within. |
