The Statue of Liberty welcomes millions of immigrants into the New York City harbor and into the United States of America. They move past her and find a new home somewhere in our land. One day, the Lady Liberty decided she wanted to visit the people and see where they had found their new place. she quietly sstepped down and disappeared. Then, she journeyed all across America and visited all the people. Many of them recognized her and cheered her. But, after awhile, the people of New York began to miss her. They wanted her to come back to her special place where she belongs. This is a beautiful look at the different vistas of our country and a warm reminder of how lucky we are to have our cherished freedom.
