When misfortune befalls you, it's important to have a plan of action. This is the thread of this re-invention of the classic tale of Chicken Little. As usual, a string of animals, as witless as our friend the chicken, will join in the chaos of confusion. Without asking any questions, the gaggle members will run for their lives until they find themselves at the chops of Foxy Loxy. Now, this guy has a plan. Suddenly, everyone is truly in the dark together-only this dark place is the insides of Foxy Loxy. Yikes. Now they really have a problem. I really enjoyed reading this version. The voice is fresh and the vibrant colors add energy to the tale. It's a great read aloud. Perfect for asking, "What do you think will happen next?" Watch out for those acorns!
