Lucky Max, the dog, is the king's taster. He tastes the king's food before the king eats it to be sure the food is safe for the king to eat. Life is grand until a new king comes along. Now, the cook and the taster have a big problem. The king does not like his food. So, off they go to travel the world in search of new recipes that will satisfy the king's appetite. In France they discover French fries. Will the king like them? In Italy they discover pizza. Will that flavor win his favor? What does Mexico have to offer to the king's palate? Uh, oh.
