If you know a young child who is going be in the hospital or maybe will be visiting someone there, it's helpful to be able to prepare them for what they will see and do there. Mister Rogers' gentle, reassuring voice walks you through what you might expect if you are going for one day or several days. I liked the normalcy he creates as he gives information and the photographs are helpful so even the iron-barred cribs will not seem so intimidating.
This book has a nice balance of information and soothing words that will help calm the fears of the child and parents alike. A good tool.
