It's hard to be a skunk when everyone makes fun of you for being stinky. Sassafras feels sad until he learns that everyone in the forest has a special gift for staying safe. Squirrel throws acorns, and Porcupine has quills. Thank goodness for the smell of a skunk. Each one is special and helpful in his or her own way.
