Nicki wants his new mittens to be white as snow, but his grandmother says they’ll be too easy to lose. Nicki wins out, and grandmother knits him the white mittens. Sure enough when Nicki heads outside, one mitten soon drops off and gets left behind. What happens to that mitten? Well, you could never imagine how many animals could fit inside. Thank goodness for Baba’s very fine knitting.
