You can get this one as a hardcover, as a paperback and in two different board book formats. The first version of this book shows the cars of the train. They are different colors and this book can definitely be used to teach color. In the second version of the board book, you can actually slide the pages open to see what might be INSIDE each car. It's a classic. This book was the recipient of the 1979 Caldecott Honors award.
