Here's the book that started it all. One night, Marc Brown was telling a bedtime story to his son. It wasn't a great night in Mr. Brown's life, and he didn't have a lot of energy or interest in storytelling at that moment, but his son asked for a story about an animal...in particular about an aardvark. So, Arthur was born here with a nose that caused him all sorts of worry. His family loves him, and they love his nose. Arthur, however, wants a new nose that will help him to fit in, so off he goes to the rhinologist to try different noses.
