Arthur's teacher, Mr. Ratburn, or Mr. Ratbite, depending on who you ask, has fallen on hard times. A snowfall has collapsed the roof on his house, and he has no where to stay. Arthur's parents have invited Mr. Ratburn to stay at their house. Arthur's worst nightmare has come true, and it gets even worse when the kids at school think he's now the teacher's pet.
