Zara has made the decision to turn into a pixie so she can attempt travel to Valhalla to return Nick to Bedford. Now Zara and her friends have to figure out if she is still the same person she always was (minus the blue skin and sharp teeth) or if she has become more like the other dangerous pixies. Can there really be a good pixie? While she is trying to answer these questions, there is also the problem of how she and Astley can protect the town and its teenagers from the growing disappearances while someone close to them is setting deadly traps for them. While Zara is feverishly trying to bring Nick back, there is also some fear that he won't love her any longer since she turned pixie, and what if she is more in tune with Astley now? 272 pages Ages 14 and up
