People think of robots as being entities designed to do jobs for human beings but roboticist Cynthia Breazeal designs robots to "work and learn in cooperation with people." Growing up, Cynthia was an avid soccer player and tennis player. She loved sports and she did well in school. She also saw a movie called "Star Wars" and when she did, she saw a robot named R2D2 and he captured her imagination. When Cynthia graduated from high school she went on to MIT and there she blossomed into the world of robotics. So, are women scientists a breed apart?
