A goat herder in the mountains of northern Pakistan finds an abandoned baby snow leopard. He took the leopard home where his children played with the baby. When the leopard grew too large, the herder took it to the office of the World Wildlife Fund. With only two sites in the world designed to handle such situations, they contacted the Bronx Zoo and arranged to transport the leopard to the Bronx in New York State. Photographs document the journey the leopard takes from discovery to final disposition. 40 pages
