When David's parents get the letter that he's been kicked out of school, they are very upset. So, upset in fact that David's father tried to throw a knife at him. Luckily, David's mother steps in front of him and takes the knife for him. This is just an average day at the Eliot home. Then, David's father decides to read the letter from Groosham Grange so he pulls the knife out of mom and uses it as a letter opener. David is doomed to be enrolled at Groosham Grange. He's the seventh son of a seventh son which makes him special. But Groosham Grange is by no means a normal school. David goes to explore the dorms in the wee hours of the night and finds every bed empty. Where is everyone? What's going on? Why did he have to sign his paperwork in his own blood? This is part spoof and part action/adventure/mystery.
