Araminta Spookie, Book One: My Haunted House

Araminta Spookie lives with her Aunt Tabby and her Uncle Drac in a large house, which hopefully has a ghost or two and definitely has a boiler that drives her aunt crazy. In fact, it drives her aunt so crazy, that her aunt decides to sell the house. Well, Araminta hasn't found her ghost/s yet, and so the battle of wits and sign-painting begins. As realtors begin to bring their clients by, the flour flies, and the ghosts start joining in the battle.

Not too scary and good touches of humor make this a playful, light read with a bit of hope that perhaps a ghost does indeed lurk here. Ages 7-10 160 pages
