Notes from a Totally Lame Vampire: Because the Undead Have Feelings Too!
Book Information
Nigel isn’t your typical teenager. Transformed by a vampire couple who wanted to have children, he has been 15 years-old for over 100 years. Written as a diary, Notes from a Totally Lame Vampire is Nigel’s chronicle of his attempts to gain the attention of a new girl in school. Nigel’s tale turns vampire legends inside out. He can see his reflection (to his dismay) and gets zits when he goes out into the sun. He is not the handsome and charismatic example of vampire lore and he most definitely does not sparkle. The reader will enjoy reading about the ups and downs of Nigel’s unlife as he learns what it means to grow up. Nigel is a character young teens will be able to identify with and be amused by the illustrations throughout. This was a very enjoyable read that I recommend for readers. 329 pages.
