It's fall and Cowgirl Kate has to start school. Cocoa wants to go with her so he chases the bus. All the kids make fun of him and sing 'Mary had a little lamb.' Then, Kate comes home with a new friend and Cocoa feels heartsick. The friends are going through the tough times together as things change. But, fortunately, Cocoa's sense of himself and his appetite will never change.
