Cordelia and Letty grew up in Union, Ohio a small town that didn’t hold the allure of what New York City could give them. Hours after Cordelia’s wedding they decide to secretly leave and run to New York City. Letty hoping to reach stardom and Cordelia hoping to find and meet her father, the famous bootlegger Darius Grey.
Not long after arriving they have a falling out and part ways. Letty ends up being a cigarette girl at a famous speakeasy and Cordelia finds her way to her father and his mansion. There she meets Astrid, who is dating Cordelia’s half brother Charlie. They both find adventure and sometimes get in circumstances that they will have to take the consequences for but they have fun as they party their way through high society. Will they meet up again and make amends?
