Bigfoot Boy: Into the Woods

Left at Grandma’s place on the edge of the woods for the weekend, Rufus wanders into the woods and finds a magic necklace and learns an incantation that turns him into Bigfoot! Big hairy and wild, Rufus also learns to switch back into his boy form, and so must discover whether there are times when being a monster might not be such a bad thing, after all. Like when the neighbor girl Penny is lost in the woods. Rufus goes to help her big sister Aurora, and transforms into Bigfoot in the nick of time to help Penny escape wolves who had captured her in hopes of gaining the necklace’s magical powers for themselves. A fast paced, easy-reading graphic novel that may appeal to nature lovers and those willing to listen to talking squirrels and big bad wolves lurking in the forest.
