Golly! This tongue in cheek comic adventure begins with the sinking of the Colossus (read Titanic) along with two Indestructible Robots from Robot City. Years later they resurface…one into the hands of good, and one into the hands of evil Mr. Furniss. Will Sarah Cross, a feisty young scientist, rescue the metal man and defeat the villain before he carries out his master plan? These full-color “retro” comics can be read by newly independent readers, but much of the humor in the parody will appeal to older folks who can recall the golden age of superhero comics. An absolutely great series for elementary libraries looking for action-packed graphic novels.
