This seemingly large and powerful dinosaur detective doesn't quite have his act together. First his hat goes missing. He looks everywhere -in the desk, in the wastebasket, on the bookshelf. Nothing. Now the word spreads among the other Dinosaur Detectives and everyone is on the case. Chief Tyrannosaurus, Deputy Diplodocus, and Officer Pterodactyl all put their minds to work and by golly, they have a success on their hands...or actually on their heads. This happy ending is immediately followed by the case of the squeaky shoe. These characters are fun to watch as they bungle and seek. Great for young readers who need a big laugh.
