Oh, how fun! This is a board book with pull tabs that make the grasshopper hop. The wonderful part is that the grasshopper shows up in different settings like the fridge, a soup pot, the sea and even an old clock. If you have a toddler who loves to look at the pictures and learn about the world, this is a great book to share. Where is he now? Then you pull the tab and hop him off to the next adventure. The author appreciates the "smarts" of this age and even offers a twist at the end with a sense of humor. I think kids will want to "read" this one over and over again to see the grasshopper end up in great peril momentarily. Just tottering on the brink of being eaten.
