This is a wonderful lift-the-flap board book by the amazing Simms Taback. There is a different animal on each page done as a cut out in the cardboard so you see the shape of the animal before you lift the flap. But, when you lift the flap to take a peek, there is the same animal in bold color peeking back at you! There are eight flaps to lift and then the final page has the brightly colored images of all eight animals on one page for you to identify. Great fun for a little one to explore. Recommended for 2 and up.
