Good old Uncle Jake is doing something really special for Henry...he's building him a tree house. But, when he gets this great gift all finished and Henry goes up the tree, he realizes that his best friend, Mudge, can't climb trees. He's a dog. Now Henry has to figure out how to be with his dog and not hurt his well-meaning uncle's feelings. Thank goodness for the wonderful parents who see the problem, appreciate the sensitivity and come up with an entertaining and creative solution. The friendship continues. Book 21 in the series.
