Fairest

As a baby, Aza was left at an inn, and the owners became her family and embraced her. She has a beautiful voice, but her face leaves something to be desired. She teaches herself to throw her voice so she can make it appear to come from other people -she calls this "illusing." Now the King has become betrothed to a young girl, Ivy, and the wedding is about to take place. It's important that Ivy be able to sing beautifully, but she can't. Aza finds herself at the palace, and soon after, the King becomes very ill. The kingdom is in the hands of Ivy, and Aza is in the hands of Ivy too. What price is one willing to pay for beauty? Where does true beauty lie?
