Traitorous flyers are appearing all over the city threatening the life of the King. Now, flyers aren't uncommon in our day and age, but set in these early days, flyers are unheard of. Clearly there is something mysterious at foot and Mangus the Magician is the chief suspect. Only he would have the power to create so many papers that are exactly the same. Fabrizio is apprenticed to Mangus and has been tasked with taking good care of him. He devotes himself to proving that Mangus is not guilty of treason. I think Avi had a great time writing this. His subtle humor lurks throughout. Good adventure and lots of fun.  272 pages
