It can be hard to find a book these days. Boys in particular seem to struggle with finding a good book. I've created four categories of guy readers. They are:

Seeker/LeaderHow to improve their life and the world around them. Looking for ideals. Enjoy Sci-fi and Fantasy. They also may have great hearts and empathy or others situations. They will walk in someone else's shoes.These are the Lloyd Alexander, T.A. Barron, Christopher Paolini readers.

Jokester/Thrill Seeker/Party AnimalThey don’t want to change themselves or their worlds. They want to have a good time. Captain Underpants is a favorite for them. They may enjoy graphic novels.

AnswermanThey like to know facts and lots of information. Hand them non-fiction. They may read historical fiction if there’s an era they like to learn about. They may be open to a book about a real life disaster. Mysteries might work for them.
